DIG AGAIN (Part two)

presiderblog

Genesis 26: 12-15, 18 KJV. “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year and hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. [13]. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: [14]. For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him. [15]. For all the wells which his father’s servants had digged in the days of Abraham his father, the Philistines had stopped them, and filled them with earth. [18]. And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them.”

The water Isaac needed for his crops to grow was obtained by REDIGGING the wells that his father had once dug. These wells were plugged up by the Philistine, his enemies. Over a period of time, the enemy had stopped up the wells. Just as with Isaac, the water we do desperately need for the GROWTH of God’s incorruptible SEED to MATURE in our HEARTS must be drawn from STOPPED-UP-WELLS.
The worldliness presently in the CHURCH (The Body of Christ) has stopped-up many wells. A church that once was very fruitful now has become dry because it has allowed the enemy to seduce it. I have good news for you; God is in the process of RESTORING us back to where we once were. He has reminded me that, “There yet remaineth very much Land to be possessed.” God is restoring us both personally and to the Church as a whole. As Isaac did not seek his own way or pleasure by going to the land of ease, so we (if we will not do things our way, or seek our own pleasure, nor speak our own words, but honor God), shall be like a watered garden and a spring of living water whose waters do not fail!
God will bring His LIVING WATER to DRY and THIRSTY places through His people – PEOPLE MATTER TO GOD!
God is leading us to REDIG those wells that the world has plugged up.  Again, that takes persistence.
“There remaineth yet very much Land to be possessed.”  “People matter to God – and People should matter to you as well.”
