Bishop Clarence Groover Sr. – IT Committee Chairman

cgroover_smMr. Groover graduated from the William James High School in Statesboro, GA. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics with Minors in Physics and Biology from Savannah State University (SSU), Savannah, GA. At SSU Mr. Groover was a member of the Newtonian Honor Society and was a tutor in Mathematics and Physics. Subsequently, he has done graduate work at the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, CA in Aerospace Operations Management and the American University (AU) of Washington, DC in Computer Science. He also completed a one year Graduate Training Program at the Goddard Space flight Center. He attended Oracle University in Bethesda, MD for specialized training on Oracle Software Development tools.

In addition, Mr. Groover throughout his career has attended several hundred technical training conferences, courses, seminars and workshops. He has also served three years in the US Army during the Vietnam era. While in the Military he attended the Ordnance of Guided Missile School in Huntsville, AL and was certified as an electronics technician and repaired Nike Missiles Launcher Controls. Mr. Groover was an instructor of Mathematics and General Science at the Wiesbaden Education Center, Wiesbaden, Germany. He has been working as an Information Technology (IT) professional for the last 41 years. His professional career includes Mathematician at The Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD where he also served as Assistant Data Processing Engineer for the Orbiting Astronomical Observatory (OAO-A2) Satellite and Lead Software Analyst for the Orbiting Astronomical Observatory (OAO-B), Energetic Particle Explorer (EPE-D), Atmosphere Explorer (AE-C) and the Orbiting Geophysical Observatory (OGO-C) satellites. Supervisory Computer System Analyst for the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Government Printing Office and Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) and Information Technology Manager for the National Computer Systems Corporation based in Iowa. He served as Associate Director of the Information Systems and Services’ Applications Systems Unit at Howard University. Presently, Mr. Groover is the Supervisor In Charge of the Information Systems and Services and holds the highest technology office at the prestigious Howard University. As such he is in charge of all technology support at the institution, including visioning, planning, budgeting, etc., for technology in support of administrative and academic computing, telephony, and networking infrastructure, and manager of 168 hands-on staff who support the institution’s mission. He is Chairman of the Information Technology Committee for the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. He is a prolific writer and has numerous documents to his credit.

Pastor Woodley accepted his call to the ministry in 1991 and was duly ordained in 1998. A faithful student of the Word of God, Pastor Woodley attended New York school of the Bible, Church of Christ Bible Institute, W.L. Bonner College and Bibleway Baptist Institute of New England. He is currently working on his Masters of Divinity at New York Theological Seminary, and has also received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the Commonwealth Bible Institute for his Life Experiences and contributions to the Body of Christ. With more than 20 years experience in Computer Technology and Technical Project Management, Pastor Woodley holds a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Computer Science. Pastor Woodley has provided technical assistance for countless numbers of people, he also serves as a member of the National I.T. Committee for the Churches of our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc. Apt to teach, he is the founder of Life Changers Community Resource Center, Inc. One of the goals of this organization is to educate people in all age groups, also to promote literacy in the communities where he has been called to serve.

Sister Sabrina M. Zackery – Functional/Editorial Manager

A resident of Atlanta, GA, Sabrina works as a Web Developer for a private company in the city. She graduated from Mercer University and Southern Polytechnic State University respectively; obtaining a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science in the field of Information Technology.

Her IT expertise includes database development, web application programming and design, technical communication, report writing, and project management.

She is a baptized, Holy-ghost filled believer who currently attends Harvesttime Apostolic Ministries in metro Atlanta. In the past, she has worked as a secretary for the Sunday School superintendent and served as an assistant teacher for the youth class. Having a passion for writing, she was a regular contributor for the now defunct COOLJC Sunday School book endeavor

Sister Alicia Smith– Technical Consultant, Web Master, Infrastructure Designer, System Integrator, Security Administrator and Application Developer

AliciaMs. Smith is a graduate of Morgan State University with a B.S. Degree in Information Systems, 10 years of experience in management and 10 years of consulting in the Information Systems. Ms. Smith is also experienced in web design and system development. She has consulted with Fortune 500 and government clients on different projects spanning different industries, technologies, processes, businesses, and business process re-engineering. She has also received numerous merits and training in Informational Technology (IT) field and marketing.

She is co-owner of Sweet Finesse Entertainment, LLC and formerly sat on the board of directors as Senior Vice President of The Music Group Associates and on the Corporate IT Committee of Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of Apostolic Faith, Inc. Ms. Smith is also experienced in web design and system development, database development, e-commerce technology on the Internet, and other application solutions using voice, data and video. Her expertise has been utilized in various projects involving IT, marketing, and graphic creation.

Elder Lewis Ward– Functional Financial Consultant, monitor the credit card transaction postings from the clearinghouse to the COOLJC Merchant Account. Also, assist in the credit card transaction reconciliation process

Sister Judy Groover – Graphics Artist, advise on the friendliness and visibility of the web pages.

She has also acted as a public relations liaison and event planner for various artists and organizations such as National gospel recording artist, Tonex, Antun Foster and Chemistry, The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc., and The Music Group Associates. She has worked with a number of high profile entertainers such as: Tonex, Natalie Wilson, Antun Foster, David Holister, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee, David Talbert, Karen Clark, David Frazier, Reggie Young, Temptations, Kim Burrell and many more.

Ms. Groover is a graduate of Howard University and received a degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography and graphic design. She is the co-owner of Sweet Finesse Entertainment and formally sat on the Board of Directors as Treasurer of The Music Group Associates and on the Corporate IT Committee of Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of Apostolic Faith, Inc. Also, Ms. Groover has 15 years of experience in direct mailing, Internet, radio, and street promotions, and marketing of Fisherman of Men Church and Mid-Atlantic Diocese Organization as the publicity and event coordinator.

Ms. Groover has an extraordinary talents and creativity in music, photography, and art. Judy photos’ have been used for media such as magazines, websites, posters and flyers. Also, they have been published nationally in Sister 2 Sister and USA Today magazine. She has done on site photography for national concerts, weddings, and other events.

Jule BostickHelp Desk Support and Applications Developer

brotherjuleBrother Jule Bostick graduated from Pottsgrove High School in Pottstown, PA. After working for the Vanguard Group Corporation for five years as a processing associate, he enrolled in the Computer and Information Science tract at Temple University (TU). While earning his Bachelor of Arts Degree, he served as local ABYPU President for Emmanuel Temple Church of Kennett Square, PA. He honors its founder and pastor, Bishop William F. Cramer, who encouraged him to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Not only did Jule pursue his thirst for knowledge within the Word of God, he also embraced the coursework at TU. Learning about programming methodologies prepared him for his current position as the Web Developer for United Way of the Greater Richmond & Petersburg Area.

In this current tenure, he implemented a web-based Help Desk system with classic ASP, an Intranet based off the Dotnetnuke framework, a click-2-dial application utilizing IP Telephony, an online reporting application based on ASP.NET.

Brother Jule currently resides in Petersburg, VA with his wife, Sister Cheryl Perry Bostick of Brodnax, VA. He and his wife both attend Calvary Temple Church pastored by Apostle Wesley M. Taylor, of the Virginia Southern Diocese. Being a baptized believer, who is filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost, he gives the Lord Jesus Christ all of the honor. He realizes that nothing would be possible if the chief developer, The Lord, did not bring it past. To God be the glory!
